Finding great new talent is always a battle for agencies. As a gaming specialist, at Waste we faced an even bigger challenge - not only did we need great creatives, they also needed to be keen gamers.
So we decided to explore new places to reach potential employees - by building our office in Nintendo’s hit game, Animal Crossing and posting a brief on the in-game notice board. Anyone could come visit our office, read the brief, and answer it for the chance to win a paid internship.
We received over nearly 50 entries - all from gaming creatives. And generated some nice PR for the agency too.
